Now you can watch the above tv shows from outside USA!
This show is a modern and classically portrayed representation of the famous novel written many years ago. A highly entertaining amount of content is packed into each episode.
While Crusoe incurred a notably low rating by critics and is not scheduled for an additional season, it is a genuinely unique and entertaining series of episodes geared toward a more adventurous minded viewer. A total of 13 episodes were created in 2008-2009, each with it's own easily understood and well traversed storyline. The island plot is quite interesting to take in with actors that fit the character descriptions incredibly well.
Crusoe is enjoyable and visually pleasing to behold. The resolution and film quality are wonderful with tropical backgrounds that provide an alluring island quality. There are certain adaptations to this program that could have been implemented to further it's success. A diverse selection of scenic areas would have allowed the program a chance to entice viewers with different interests. While there is something to be said for simple background scenes thoroughly explored and understood by the viewer, a wide array of areas carrying the same theme would have grabbed the interest of a wider range of NBC viewers.
While many would like to see more episodes of Crusoe produced, the rating scale has decided a different outcome for this televised sequel to the famous novel. It's surprising, but not incredibly so. The amount of reality TV shows depicting real life events with real life feelings, determination, and scenarios has overrun the once choreographed art form of mainstream TV. Crusoe, and similar offerings inundated with scripts and actors performing predetermined scenes may be drawing to a general close. The future will always be bright for televised programs, but the variations in content and delivery methods will always be an ever changing adaptation conforming to the evolution of life.
